Blooming on Friday

We got a little rain yesterday. We were at the grocery store and it poured for a short time. When we got home, it looked like we didn't get as much. Still we will take what we get. The temperatures are down today as well as the humidity so it was pleasant working outside. Yesterday it was like a sauna.

A Sip of Red has been here several years and has finally decided to bloom. The flower is not very large. Its fate is undecided as I am over daylilies that don't perform for us.

Cherry Pie a la Mode is blooming on a rebloom scape.

Delinquent Doll is blooming.

Glowing Quasar looked so nice today. I like it better than Bass Gibson--has a much taller scape though not as many teeth.

Golden Glitz is a nice late bloomer.

Hot Butter Rum was posed for a photo.

Naughty by Nature is blooming with the late bloomers. It is registered as a midseason bloomer.

This seedling is a mystery. It's blooming in a row of small diploid, but I would say it's a tet. After going through my records, I believe it is St. Louie Blues X Second Horizon. How I managed to mix the seeds with the dips is beyond me.

This interesting thing about this seedling is there are white stripes on the sepal edges (hard to see in the photo). This is Charmed Existence X Rattlesnake Rake.

Whiskered Tree Swift X (Interview with a Vampire X God Save the Queen)

This is our daughter's seedling. All of the blooms were horrible this year--spotchy, wouldn't open right), but on rebloom, they are looking pretty good. It is Dental Delight X Happy Teeth.

Love your seedling today…better than the registered ones. I’m hoping you post another photo of the Charmed Exitence seedling….would love to see the sepals a little better.

I like the seedlings really well too, like Sherry, better than the others. I especially like Whiskered Tree Swift X (Interview with a Vampire X God Save the Queen) and St Louis Blues X Second Horizon. Hot Buttered Rum did look great! It is such a good plant.

I think the clump of Golden Glitz is my favorite of all. Of all yellow flowers, I like gold the best. I see that one is by Sandy Holmes. All of hers do so well here. Your intros Cherry Pie and Hot Buttered Rum look wonderful. I love that mystery seedling!

Rosemary's Tango and the Whiskered seedling caught my eye. I hope it has good plant habit. The colors seem very bright and the form interesting (slightly recurved).

Golden Glitz is fabulous in that clump! Like others the seedlings are the winners. The mystery seedling is lovely! What a great clump shot of it!
