Does the fruit of the muscadine need the sun to shine on it, or does it require the leaves to shade it? 'My muscadine vines are full of fruit, most shaded by the leaves. Do I need to trim the leaves to expose the fruit, or is it better for the fruit to be shaded? I'm in Southeast Coastal Georgia and the temperatures have been in the mid to upper 90s.
