could this be a returning ginger plant?

I was given a giniger plant last year that had flowered. When the flower fell off, I planted the ginger and marked the spot. I'm wondering if this is the ginger returning? I don't remember what the plant looked like but I'm hoping this is it and not a nice looking weed.
