Perahaps you can give a little more information? I don't really have an image of what you mean. Is this thing parked somewhere for a period of time and you want to grow things around it? Or is is constantly being moved and you want something which is actually attached to it? What exactly are 'these small spots'?

Following. I'm kind of intrigued because we're thinking of getting an RV. There are many plastic planters that go around trees that might go around your hitch, and or gussy up your camping area. BUT you would have to either have them growing and add them to the planters or load them into the truck each time you move your trailer! Looking forward to hearing more!

Yes, we will be parked in one spot for up to 7 mos...April till Nov... on Cape Cod in M!. We may have a few hundred square feet to call our own for that time. It is US zone 7, very sandy, and salty, with some shade. Lots of hydrangeas on other camp sites, but I'd like to be more unique. We live 3.5 hours away in southern NH, so it is possible for me to divide hostas, monarda, echinacea, etc from my home garden and transport them to the Cape. My goal is to make it more home-like, & more "mine". I'm curious to know what others have done in similar situation.. Do you have pix?
