On common milkweed

In upstate NY. I saw what looked like a black swallowtail butterfly laying eggs on these milkweed plants on 7/28, so I decided to look for something yesterday and all I could find was these under one leave. Sorry for the blurry photo, but it's the best I could do. Can anyone tell me what they are?
