Bathroom vanity toe kicks

We are remodeling 3 bathrooms and desire a modern look and feel. We have noticed that we are not seeing toe kicks on bathroom vanities! Is this the trend now? It doesn’t seem practical to have an open space underneath the vanity that requires hard to reach cleaning.

Seeking design advice. Thanks!

We just completed ours and have toe kicks with LED lights in them.

In a smaller space, seeing more floor makes it appear larger. I agree that it makes it more difficult to clean. You can have toe kicks that are placed farther back making it seem like the vanity is more a piece of furniture. Modern bathrooms frequently have wall mounted vanities with no legs. Very easy to clean under. May not offer as much storage as a traditional vanity, though.
