Are cooktop burner wattages created equal?

I am looking for an induction range under $2000 and Samsung and Fridgidaire seem to be my only options.

A Samsung one is as cheap as $1200 which seemed really nice, except their burner wattages...

1200/1800/1800/2400 watts

2500/2500/2800/3600 watts is what the Fridgidaire burners are which is a lot more standard or above standard from what I can gather.

I don't get it though... the Samsung one seems to get good user reviews but those wattages seem very anemic to me. I do a lot of cooking of big meals for family get togethers and meals for multiple days at once so I'm guessing Samsung's just wouldn't work for me would it?

I suppose there might be something that makes the Samsung's conduct better or something but I'm not seeing it. I tried searching about the low wattage of Samsung's induction burners but nothing comes up.
