I don't know about the Hastings sofa but I really love my EA Chesterfield. It's about 8 years old and the quality is so good. The foam and stuffing have maintained the plumpness and shape perfectly. The fabric is getting worn because I have kids and pets but for just 2 adults I imagine yours will stay looking brand new for over a decade. I could never go back to pottery barn or crate and barrel quality.
