Does TV get much use? If yes, I’d think about a much larger TV either wall hung & over a longer console along the wall or just sitting on a longer console

This is similar to the TV room I have in my basement. We have a much larger TV on a console. Large TVs aren't that expensive anymore. Anything you would buy to cover the wall would cost as much. If your budget is larger, do a wall unit.

I agree a much bigger TV on a much larger stand and I like Besta from Ikea for great ideas for storgae, display and TV This is one idea, you can really make the pieces do whatever you need and at the end it looks custom.

A much larger TV for starters. Then you can surround it with built in cabinetry. Or you can make it a feature wall with wallpaper or Board and Batten woodworking.

If you don’t want the larger TV, mimic a wall unit by grouping 3 stacked 8.5“x11”picture frames hung on both sides of it in black or chocolate brown. Start them the same height as your clock on the opposite wall. Place them approx. 1 inch underneath one another and 6 inches from the TV. Create modern artwork yourself using white construction paper and strokes of similar blues that are in the room or black and white family photos.

We can't tell if there is a fireplace under the TV or if it is a console. However, we might suggest trying a longer, lower console or some built-ins. Here are a few ideas for you from various designs of ours:
