Hi

I have been doing a lot of research in different floorings. I have to replace my Kitchen/dining area and bar side area flooring where the gaps are located. I believe they are standard vinyl flooring due to gaps forming from humidity and direct sunlight. I am looking into Luxury Wood like tile or Luxury Vinyl flooring. Problem with Vinyl they don't do well with direct light and humidity so not sure I want that. I also live in a 3 level end unit townhouse. Kitchen/dining area is one area. I plan to get a dog next year. I live by myself. What kind should I get that is low maintenance, Water resistant, Humidity resistant with direct sunlight and windows open & Scratch resistant and no more gaps??
