25 years ago my original kitchen cabinets were maple with a ginger glaze. Color changed over the years so I had them professionally painted a black shade. They chipped with wear and tear so had them repainted two other times, and it is not cheep. I liked the dark color.
Now I am going to take down a partial wall and have new cabinets made and want an espresso color that looks nice with my floor.
I don’t know what wood material to use? I’m thinking an espresso stain on maple because it won’t chip like painted wood. But I do like the clean look of painted wood.
Not sure if stained maple would look good?
I don’t know what to do!
