We planted Heavenly New Frontier this spring. It put up one small scape with two buds. Today the first flower opened. You can be sure we saved the pollen for next year.

As you might remember, we lost our sweet kitty Sparky last fall. We recently got two new kittens to be out garden cats. Friends of ours has a farm and lots of farm kittens they are trying to give away. We picked two. They were sort of wild but they have tamed down nicely. Our daughter named them Jacques and Gus Gus after the two mice in Disney's Cinderella. This is Jacques. I haven't been able to get a good picture of Gus Gus. I think Jacques is actually female.
