You generally can't buy entire wallpaper books unless you are a dealer or a designer with a business license. I look at their online sites and order or buy samples from places that offer that service. I have also purchased samples from Mahones, who have an online site.

Years ago I borrowed a wallpaper book from a "made to order" wallcovering company, and I had to give a security deposit of well over $1000 and guard the book with my life until I returned it and they returned the deposit.

Yes you would have to set up a trade account with the companies, I think. Some companies my want more information about your business than others.

But almost no one even produces physical wallpaper ”books” anymore, except for big brick and mortar dealers. The digital libraries are all online. Then you order a cut sample.

The last several times I bought wallpaper, I ordered samples online and then purchased from a dealer. The last local dealer I bought from (a paint store) did not actually have books onsite anymore. I have seen large samples of wallcoverings in the design center, but again, no books.

Wallpaper books are rather 1985, when it was the hot thing, well before the digital age.

I got spoiled living not too far from a large design center where you can flip through the large samples on racks. I take a photo of the ones that catch my eye and I then order (and pay for) the samples online.
