I would think that you could add hardwood to a kitchen and hallway for less than adding LVP in 4 rooms.

Since budget is an issue, I would look in to getting the hardwood of same species/grade/width that you already have. Have it stained to match. Worry about refinishing the other floors later.

In general, having hardwood throughout adds more value to your home than LVP throughout, so I would do as the previous commenter suggested.

Hands down, choose hardwood over LVP.

Never put fake wood next to real wood. Looks terrible. Bite the bullet and do the hardwood. As suggested try to get hardwood of same species and width and stain as closely as possible.
