I have vertical grain bamboo flooring in my downstairs. Now I need to replace the carpet on the stairs adjacent to the first floor bamboo and the 2nd story. The bamboo is no longer available. (I don't want to do carpet again as we now have a pet). How/what should I use for the stairs and the remainder of the house that compliments the bamboo I already have. I don’t want it to look like a hodgepodge! Thank you
