LG 3900 front loader leaking underneath.

It’s leaking a small puddle from underneath near the front/side opposite of where the drain pump is… the connections in the back are all okay and nothing seems to be dripping. Any ideas on what to check? The cycles have all been fine, no suds problem or anything.
Model is WM3900HBA.
Thanks.

Water often travels. The definitive way to determine the source is eyes-on while it's happening. Perhaps remove the machine top for observation while it's running as a start to the investigation. There's also a removable rear panel although it is for access to the motor on back of the tub and doesn't provide much view to anything else. There, unfortunately, is not a removable toekick panel and the machine cannot be operated with the front removed.

Is that a strut (suspension shock absorber) in the center way in back...I blew it up and it looks rusted.

Is water coming from some where around that strut or is it rusting from a pool of water in that surrounding frame?

Tilting the machine back is not a helpful move. Water flows. Take the top off as I suggested and check for leaking during operation, such as where the water input hose from the dispenser drawer connects to the tub or the tub boot, whichever route it takes. Some frontloaders have a small "window washer" hose that connects to the tub boot which sometimes loosens due to tub oscillations during spin.

georgect, Parts diagrams indicates three suspension struts but doesn't detail where they're located. The OP's photo shows one at the rear center so the other two presumably are at the front left/right. That may be grease/lubricant leaking from the strut instead of rust.

We will try to take the back off and see if we see anything leaking. Does the back come off easily? Can we take the top of the machine off? If the top pops off maybe I can get him to help tonight.
It leaks when it’s not running too. I wiped it all up last night and the puddle was back this morning. I guess that is a strut? My husband reached under and thought it felt like it was dripping down off of it.
I’ve only had it just under four years, I hope we can fix it.
    Thanks for the help!
