1.) maybe cream white vs. white-white, as the roof seems more brown than black. In your photo, the left side looks to be on a hill and designing for that is way above my pay grade, as is said. :)

On right side , or wherever it is flat , is where I;d lay a patio with overhead. French or sliding doors would repce the approprate window.
