Also..Countertops are going to be Calacatta Karmelo and backsplash is a glazed tile that's white with variations in color. Also need help with a good white trim color.

Can you match your trim paint to your cabinets? That would be the easiest instead of introducing a different white.

Thank you! I did order a few colors from Samplize (Agreeable Gray, Balboa Mist, Pale Oak, and Wind's Breath) but I was still struggling to make a decision. I will try what you said about painting on something else and holding it near cabinets/floors. That's a great idea! Also, I was thinking about asking for the color of the cabinets to do the trim with but wasn't sure if it would be too off-white for the rest of the house.

What colors do you have in the rest of the house? If you don’t want an off white or cream, then maybe Chantilly lace? It’s a nice bright white that doesn’t look too cool or too warm. Of course you’d want to test it.

All of the trim needs done. The baseboard in the picture is brand new from the store and hasn't been painted yet and the rest of the trim in the house is old and needs repainted. All of the rooms will need painted as well so I'm starting off with a clean slate. I think Chantilly lace might look too white next to the kitchen cabinets.

If you have a Benjamin Moore store near you, they may have a decorator who can help, either from pictures or a visit. Our store has a wonderful decorator who has been invaluable in dilemmas like yours.

Balboa Mist and Agreeable Gray samples and Agreeable Gray almost blends in with our current walls and Balboa Mist is a little too light. Any help or advice is appreciated !!

Bruton White is really pretty and doesn't get much attention; probably because it's in the Williamsburg collection.

If you’re using SW, here are some ideas. SW Cotton is there because it’s very close to White Dove and that’s what you said your cabinets were close to. As for the trim, I would either go with the cabinet color (take a door to the paint store and they can match it pretty closely), or go with a true white (I used high reflective white here). You don’t want them to be “close” or it will look like a miss and one may look dirty next to the other. If you don’t want a “bright white”, then choose your cabinet color.

UPDATE: Countertops are in! Backsplash will be in tomorrow. We've tried out more colors on our walls but still haven't made a decision yet. It's so difficult!

Trying to pick both wall color and trim color still. I'm thinking about taking a cabinet door in to be color matched for the trim. But I also like a crisp white but I don't want to be mixing a million different whites.

I like sage green but the only problem is it's open concept and no real breaking point so the entire main areas would have to also be sage green
