To give any useful advice we need to establish what this plant is and see some close up pictures of the old and new foliage. 'Trumpet Bush' could be a lot of things. And we need to ask why other plants have apparently thrived in the same heat conditions when this one has shrivelled? There might be another reason.

Is that a Tecoma Stans? If that wall gets a lot of sun in a hot climate the reflected heat makes that a brutal place for most plants. you could prune it all the way down to the green parts and let it regrow or put something ”tougher“ in its place like an Australian cassia(Senna), or Texas Ranger.

Ty for all responses. This is a tecoma capensis. I have had it for 3 years. July of 22 I took picture of it starting to brown but as you can see it recovered. I took pic of it in Jan 23 Just wondern if it will recover again The only other thing done this year is i had a gardener in June and altho I told him not to trim any plants- he did. Also hardly no rain this summer. This is on a wall facing west. Should i prune the kitty?
