Andersen does not make aluminum clad windows. Andersen are vinyl clad wood. Why don't you look at the Marvin Elevate or Essential's which are an all fiberglass or fiberglass clad wood, both series come in Impact Rated units.

Andersen e-series is aluminum clad. A few hundred dollars cheaper per window than Marvin.

I received quotes for Andersen E- series and Marvin Elevate when I did my house. The numbers were very similar.

@wren, my bad I forgot the E series. If your looking to save dollars I would again look at the Marvin Elevate.

Im getting that you might go with Marvin even if it’s not the aluminum clad product.

Not might, would.

Thank you so helpful!!
