Nice lamps but I agree they‘re too tall. We read in bed a lot sitting up & your lamps would be shining in eyes & too tall to reach up comfortably to turn on / off. Seems like at maximum the height of shades shouldn’t be taller than sides of headboard. I might look for a dark color lamp base to tie in with chandelier & wood color on head / footboards. The color shade you have would still work. I don’t think 4 lamps + overhead in bedroom is too many - that’s what I have! 2 nightstand lamps, one on table by chair & one on dresser. They all are used either together or at different times depending on need. The nightstand lamps are a match & the other two match each other. So 2 sets but they coordinate colors.

Have you tried the dresser lamps on the nightstands? Or are they too big?

That’s a good idea on lamps plus, I do look at their site often but hadn’t thought to do that.

I have several spots that I can’t figure out what to do to finish things out & it gets overwhelming. We have limited home decor in our area as far as finding it local.

The bed wood is a dark distressed brown, the ceiling light is pewter/silver.

I do look online & watch home decor videos but somehow I’m stuck.

From the top of the nightstand to the outer curve of the bed is roughly 33 inches in height so that calls for a pretty decent size lamp especially if I go with the middle height. Would you do a stick shape or round style?

I love the inspiration pictures you posted, I don’t have any art yet I thought about doing two stacked pieces of art or mirrors there?

Would this be too cheesy to go on the night stands? It’s 36 inches tall which would hit between the lowest & highest arch of the bed.

Where is a good place to find stacked (square) art for these spots? Would you add a rug in the room?
