I would get a larger area rug for the spot where the sofa is (centered on the window)

move the sofa back into the empty space, gives you more room in the bow window space.

I would also put a long slim sofa table behind the blue sofa.

Here is a pic of whole space. i just have two old accent chairs there now in the empty space. Across from space is the entry to the kitchen.

I agree definitely need a larger carpet under those couches a table behind one couch is a great idea with a couple of lamps at either end. As for that wall space, depending on how much work you want to put into it, you can put in a dry home bar. Buy a couple of upper cabinets or floating shelves and a wine box from IKEA, drinks fridge on the bottom flanked by two base cabinets. That would look nice there and it’s close to your patio.

IMO the LR can be made much larger the TV on that wall maybe even with a Besta wall design for some storage, TV and a bit of display
