They are both terrific lights, and I think they go well together. But they seem a bit modern for your kitchen, especially the pendants. Your furniture leans traditional/Early American. It makes me think "cast iron." A black or ORB finish on the lights would look more natural in your beautiful kitchen.

You might look at Hubbardton Forge. They have a range of styles, all available in several metal finishes. I think you could find something with the cleaner lines you're attracted too, but enough traditional feel to fit in. They aren't a budget line, but Pinterest is often great at suggesting similar styles at different price ranges.

I will definitely check that out. How about something like this for over the table? I could also just add more pot lights. One over the sink and two above the island.

With your woods I like the black open style fixtures. Like these.

The lines of y these are transitional with a bit of mid to traditional candle look over table. A little more curved lines over island. Nice combo.

Thanks for the ideas. I’m unsure of the glare from exposed bulbs over the island. I can be sensitive to the glare from bulbs which is why this has taken me so long to choose. There are so many beautiful clear glass fixtures. The pendants I posted have a shade inside, love that. Would those pendants work with either of the above linear chandeliers?

I imagine the exposed bulbs that face up don’t have as much glare?

I use frosted LEDs in lower range and glare is not a problem. Might want to visit lighting showroom and ask them to show your frosted bulbs in open chandeliers.

Thoughts on these together in the same space?

I think they work nicely. I prefer the one right above this post (although I do love the other chandelier). For me, I have grown to prefer not having much clear glass as it can be annoying and show streaks ( and of course dust) but other than that- I think the 2nd one is my choice.

Scrolling back up I also do like the one you posted with the 4 lights where you wrote-

Thank you. I actually just purchased this linear chandelier for over the table, it’s the only one my hubby and I agreed on. He prefers more modem and I typically prefer more traditional. I am undecided if I want more pot lights or pendants for the island

I think all your options were lovely. I do love that chandelier and I had even considered it for my home but size is not right for me. It's a great blend of modern and traditional.

It's a beauty and I'm sure you will be thrilled with it.
