I like that cabinet, lots of uses! Are you saying a darker piece would be a better fit for the room or lighter? Also, I am assuming this would be for the small wall?

Yes, the 45” wall. I have to check dimensions again, but i think this cabinet is 36” in width - with doors closed.

I am debating whether a darker cabinet might work better in that spot. But I really do like this one - and i like the idea that it will recede somewhat. So it keeps the space there more visually open than a darker cabinet would.

Would something this color way work? It has two stem racks and a wine rack inside as well. It’s 33.5 wide and 40” tall

Yes. That works. More glam. But if you can find similar in a whiter finish, versus what appears to be a grey (at least on my screen) I think it might be better.

Ooh yes that’s super cute. Are you thinking something a bit taller will also be more pleasing then a typical 29-30” cabinet?

Bar cabinet, one additional suggestion, one with a pull out/drp down mixing tray. This one is from Burke Decor and is expensive, but you could shop around and find others, I'm sure.

Do you have a recommendation for keeping the room from getting too “one tone” I don’t like a lot of color so I try to add texture and a couple finished (brass, black and polished nickel) but how do I add more dimension? I was thinking a black cabinet would be cool and add that punch but I actually hate dusting black furniture and I agree it will close in the room more. Any suggestions are very much appreciated!

Yes. You have that full gallery of pics immediately adjacent, so a liittle extra height on a cabinet there is good.
