Daylily deprivation pt. 2

Here are a few more we enjoyed this summer.

Black Rock Spire is a Salter that seems to be hardy enough to make it through the winter. I like the great color and the fine purple edge on the sepals.

By the Golden Rule was a gift. We wanted this one because of its reputation of being a good rebloomer. It was planted in 2022 and it gave us three sets of scapes this year. The flower is small.

Heavenly Christmas Cactus is not new to the garden, but it is a blooming fool.

Heavenly Green Canary is a great one for those who are looking for greenish tets. It's a strong grower with tall scapes and big flowers.

Heavenly Knight Rider was planted in 2022. It produced big flowers this past summer.

Heavenly Pink Angel is one of Jamie Gossard's small(ish) diploid ufs. I like small flowers on tall scapes.

Heavenly Stuck on You is not my color, but I bought it because it was cheap and I thought I could increase it and sell some. (I bought from our local club. It was a returned club plant and had increased so well, there was lots to sell. I think I paid $10 for it.) It was planted in 2022 and has proven to be a great grower with large flowers.

This was another club plant and it has become one of my favorites. It's Glad Cows Don't Fly has 5 inch flowers and is increasing well.

Je Su Charlie is buried in weeds right now, but still managed to produce some nice flowers. I love the color with the watermark and edge. It will be moved this spring so hopefully it will have a better place in which to grow.

JJ It Is Mine was hybridized by a friend. It was also planted in 2022 and produced these lovely flowers on strong plants. I tried to set some seed on this year but was unsuccessful. I'll try next year.

That's all for part 2. One more to come.
