Flooring Home Decorating Design Dilemma

My backsplit received water damage so new floor coming. 5 years ago I had same and went with dark vinyl plank which was trending at the time. I’d like to go lighter but my railings are dark and a lot of work to redo. Also I’m replacing the steps with oak treads, which I’ll stain to match and dining room floor in pic will be same as lower. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Your floors and tones are lovely. I would keep them the same.

Your floors are mid-tone, and what I consider to be very neutral: not orange, not yellow, not gray, and not green. To me, they're awesome.

That color will serve you through trend after trend after trend. You can laugh and rejoice, as you decorate with pillows, paint, rugs and art, because you have an awesomely neutral background.
