Considering some of the past horror stories in this forum going back decades, I see no issues, but the top one could have been snugged closer unless it had to do with the milling.

That's milling, the ends are not square.

Poor quality materials cannot be made better quality in the field.

You are on site with the product. Snap a few together yourself and see if they are tighter or this is as good as it gets.
