The plan sketch seems erroneous in the number and size of the plywood sheets.

Install per mfg instructions per code or void warranty and risk inspection fail. Its your responsibility not the building inspector.

You should not need to trim but you may need to anyway. Not a big deal to trim.

Gaps are important here.

I missed it wasn't T&G. Block & gap.

Why 3/4" for wall sheathing? Check your engineering for specifications. Typically 3/8". 1/2" if a heavy engineering wall or both sides.

This just isn't as hard as you are trying to make it.

@ Jeffrey R. Grenz, General Contractor I want strong / thick floors. Get bulk purchase discount anyways with 3/4 sheathing.

@ DeWayne I want to build it correctly, all info im reading states a 1/8 gap is necessary to prevent buckling. I would be required to shave off a side of all boards to ensure gapping as shown in the images.

3/4 sheathing may effect your windows and doors, and be heavier to handle. Not sure if the extra thickness will really add that much noticible benefit to the wall's integrity.

Make sure to get a revised nailing schedule from the engineer for the 3/4" shear panels as nail depth will be impacted.

Moving units of plywood etc was my workout as a teenager.
