I was planning on purchasing this bedding for my master bedroom. What color are the drapes? Do you think a bed like this can be done if there is carpet in the room? We are finishing our basement (master) and want carpet instead of wood.

The drapes are in color "linen". If you're planning on putting a bed over carpeted floor I would chose a frame that has a little more wood in the mix.
