oven exhaust question

I noticed the Wolf induction ranges have the oven exhaust on the front of the unit below the door. This seems like this may cause problems with heat damaging hardwood floors. Does this seem like it could be a problem? What about a thin layer of grease getting on the floor? Uncomfortable when working in front of the oven on the range top? (hot legs and all)

For my Wolf double oven setup, the heat output is below the lower unit. It is not sourced from inside the ovens, but is air passed over the two ovens and expelled at the bottom. Generally, this point is well above the floor, but in any case this air is warm, not oven hot.

My cherry floor has only been damaged by people with the dropsies.
