Hi there,

I'm new to the world of Cannas and not sure what to do with one that I potted this past spring in zone 5. It is about 4-feet tall now and hasn't been subjected to frost. I'd like to put it out again -- as is -- next spring/summer. Can I simply bring it into the house for the winter and then put it out again in the spring -- or would it be best to dig up the bulb and preserve only that? If the former, should i trim the foliage down or anything? Thanks for your advice!
