When I had my bathroom renovated, I chose to have an offset sink with more counter area to the right of my sink, to put my make up. We positioned our overhead light and mirror centeted over the vanity.

I would go with one large mirror, and a wider light centered over the entire vanity.

In a guest bath, I would have a mirror and light over the sink and some art over the other part of the vanity.

That’s a great counter top for a guest who needs to spread out personal items like hair styling tools or make up. Do a large mirror so the guest can stand in one spot and reach everything.

You may want to consider a large mirror with the sconces mounted directly onto the mirror.
