I can't read comments on my Mac in Safari, so I'm currently using Chrome. Oddly enough, I can read comments on my Iphone in Safari.

A PITA workaround is:

click on the username of the OP

click on Activity

click on Show Comments (not the post)

This will show the comments, but not the original post.

It's odd that this just suddenly started to happen.

If the ”Comment“ box shows up, click on it to see what happens. Are you using an app or Safari?

I have this intermittent issue when accessing the website (not app) on my iPhone. I find changing the ”Sort by” (in my case from ”newest” to ”oldest”) causes the comments to show up on the refreshed page.

My Ipad uses Safari.

Design Fan, The sort by option seems to be disabled. Nothing happens.

I guess I'm going to have to use my computer for now.

On my iPad I use the Houzz app. It’s definitely not perfect (or intuitive) but I’m learning its quirks.

had the same problem, Ipad with Safari, most annoying, and even on my Ibook the comments would not show or "unfold", did a restart on both

no change

on my regular large computer it works

and yes, could not use the "sort by" option also

I always do Houzz and old link for gardenweb on my iPad 7. I use chrome as my browser. I have to post on gardenweb if using pictures. Otherwise, I use chrome for all other activity. I also use the app.

I have the exact same issue, using safari on ipad. I guess I assumed the issues are with my tech-ignorance, but Houzz is probably tinkering as it has done before, for some reason.

I get into the forums by typing gardenweb.com in the google search bar. Always have.

I use Safari on my Ibook, same problem

just installed Firefox, that helped, can see comments again

Install ios 17 and you’ll see comments again.

Houzz replied. They asked for more information. But before I replied, my son showed me how to switch to Firefox. I can now see the comments.
