You mention shelves, but do you also need hanging space? Were you planning on DIY? Have you looked at the modular systems you can DIY at HD (Closet Maid), Ikea and The Container Store? You have a lot of corners which are always challenging to make good use of.

Could you post pictures of the closets, would you like just shelves or a combination of shelves and hanging. Also what will you be keeping in these closets just your clothes or also footwear too. The more information you give the better advice you will be able to get here.
