Oh sorry I thought the console was black…yes, a black console or a medium wood similar to the kitchen counter stools or with a grey wash. If you do a black console, bring in those wood tones in the decor for the console.

Hi, you definitely have the space to go a bit longer with your console, I would either really dark wood or just black. But in case you go with a longer one I would suggest you find something that has two drawers but doesn't have a bottom shelf. If you go to large and it has a shelf and drawers it might be a bit too much for the space especially since you plan to go with a dark color which I agree with.
