I would move the TV to the big wall opposite the windows with a console below. I would hang a large impressive painting or print above the fireplace and aggrange furiture to view the TV. I would paint the cabinet next to the fire box a color that blends with the rock.

Would I be crazy to do something like this? The half stone / half tile bugs me a little. If I edited out the cabinet would how difficult (expensive) would it be to recenter the fire box?
