moisture under LVP and moisture barrier

We had old LVP pulled up to install new and it was wet under the vinyl, and under the moisture barrier. It was quite a bit of water. We don’t seem to have a foundation leak although we have a company coming out. It was dry behind the fridge and the dishwasher has never leaked.

Any ideas? Could this just be condensation or vapor?

Concrete is very porous. If it doesn't have a vapor barrier under it, then that water just migrates straight through the slab in liquid or vapor form. It's then trapped under the impermeable plastic layer. Where you get mold. This is one of the reasons carpet was a popular choice over slabs. It's vapor permeable. It lets the water escape.
