Can you post a picture that shows the light fixture?

You can mix metals but in general keep the finishes the same. So if your chrome hardware is shiny stick with shiny and if matte stick with matte.

I like that it is not chrome to give some depth to the space. Will the birch (or any other warm tones) be repeated anywhere else in the room? If not, I would try another one mirror or paint this one. Maybe a dark pewter.

I also like the shape and size for the room. On the practice side- if you do makeup in here, I would consider a mirror that is over the countertop too. I would rather lean over a countertop than the sink to put on mascara.

This gold mirror gives a nice, pretty warmth to the room. I like it. I'd probably pick out a new lighting fixture in chrome and then see if you still like the mirror with the light. Much cheaper and easier to swap out a mirror than a light fixture.

Of the two wayfair links for fixtures, I like the first one much better. The second one looks kind of trendy and would seem slapped on in your bathroom. The first is much more sophisticated and elevates the look of your room.

K8cd - yes I think I will try and bring a light birch in with some baskets at the bottom of the vanity - it’s open along the bottom. Thank you for your comments. Or I may consider doing a dark pewter. Going to live with it for a few days and see what I think.

I think bringing in baskets will do the trick!

I like the bit of wood to warm up the room. Repeating that same tone in baskets would be nice.
