Architect/ designer fee?

considering hiring an architect or possibly interior designer for the dedign of a complete gut renovation of 3 bathrooms and 1 powder room in a house. Want all new fixtures, fittings, tile, lighting etc. My construction budget is $150,000.

Does anyone know how much an architect may charge for a full design package?

That will be as varied as flowers in a garden. Why do you need an architect? Are the bath spaces changing location? Are they being enlarged in any way?

Style and fixture changes don't need an architect. A bath gut needs a very good interior designer with the other professionals ( cabinetry source and planning, a contractor with sub contractors etc ) on speed dial from the phone in her handbag or from his back pocket.

For any bath, you need a functional and attractive layout, and to help with that, right here? You need to show the current conditions in a scaled floor plan, every foot and inch noted on every wall, window and doorway. Add pictures.....all below in a comment box below my post

Two very different things and the budget will be gone long before the things you want to do happen if you hire an architect for sure. You do not need an architect to renovate a bathroom. Many things are missing from your question . As mentioned we need context here .Pictures of the spaces , a to scale floor plan showing where the toilets are in each space , since moving toilets is expensive. Do the drawing on graph paper every inch measured and shown post in jpeg here in a comment , all the pics here in comments DO NOT start another post.

Depending on where you live, there may also be a nice high-end design/build firm that specializes in kitchens and baths - definitely ask around and get reccos from others, don’t depend on online reviews —agree with @chispa that they must have excellent subs

Depending on where you live this budget is massively low for what needs to be done and doesn’t include any space for design help.

    Amanda:

Share your budget with a local reputable general contractor please. No one knows more accurately as to how realistic or not your budget is. He will also have an architect and/or designer on speed dial with whom he is comfortable working if their services are necessary.

I'd find a great bathroom designer and specify that you want them to oversee the entire installation. Good ones will have contractors they have used and like.
