I recently bought a brick ranch style house and the bricks have some irregularities including dark marks that often stick out from the brick. I’ve seen these described as “clinker bricks”. I’m considering painting the house with a white lime wash. Does anyone have any experience doing this with similar brick? Clearly some of the darker spots will show theough the lime wash, which is fine. In fact, i think that will create an interesting look. Im curious how much will actually show through though. Does anyone have any examples that can be shared?
