Beige Overload Master Bedroom

Hoping you can assist with my space. Walls are halo shade planning to keep. Bed is pottery Barn Harper in Oatmeal colour. sconces will be installed soon; pic provided below. Night stands will likely be painted in dark Green, black or brown. Would prefer to keep bedding white. light fixture shades being changed to clear glass.

1. Looking to accent in green, navy or brown with pillows, throw blanket on edge of bed and perhaps long curtains.

2. Finding a rug has been a challenge not sure if I should do cream and leave accent colour up to the accessories or if I should find a rug with accent colour in it.

3. Room is oversizzed so seating area is a must to fill empty space but even with bench at end of bed will still have a lot of empty space. Have these two chairs shown in photo perhaps i can use, however they are also beige. lol

Of course it’s a personal choice; you can go either way with the rug. — i.e. a neutral rug and your accent colors in accessories - or a rug that contains some of your accent colors. There is nothing wrong with a beige room, btw - it can be very calm and relaxing. It depends on what you are going for. As far as a rug: If you go with a simple, neutral rug, you are not locked into any particular color scheme, and can change your accessories to whatever suits yout fancy - at any given time. You can bring in whatever colors, patterns, etc. - in your easier to change accessories.

It must be tough being an OP here. Every day, they get yelled at and lectured for not giving enough info. This OP does start with helpful info …. and gets told not to do that.
