Warm temps (50s) and light rain yesterday finally washed away all the snow and ice, and I was finally able to get to the grocery store. It's raining hard and windy today. Rain is forecast for the rest of the week, which could cause localized flooding, but will probably get us out of drought conditions.

Here are my K's:

Kara Louise lost fans last year and was shorter than usual.

Kentucky Lucky had a good season with at least one scape with 20 buds.

Kindred Jewel was very short last year and had some thrip trouble. It's never done well where I have it planted.

Kingdom Without End has never multiplied much for me.

Kiss of Paradise didn't bloom much last season.

Sherry - Kissed By Moonlight has so much more color for you than when it grew here. I never saw it looking pink though. It was a very pale lavender here.

It's in the low 50's here with drizzle. Freezing rain was predicted for yesterday, but we ended up not getting any. That's ok with me. The ice is the worst.

Kennesaw Crossfire has interesting color (when it's not splotchy like this one is), but it's not a very good performer here.

I really like King Crab.

Klaatu Barada Nikto is a good performer, but I don't love the flower. Bob does so it stays.

Here is Krakatoa Katie trying to double. Most of the blooms were single this season.

Debra, Kingdom without End is a beautiful color and great form. Too bad it doesn't multiply much for you. I also like Kindred Jewel.

I got King Crab a while back; am eagerly awaiting its first bloom. Kingdom Without End is not a fast multiplier, but it has been divided once. Kensington Plantation, I see, is out of Victorian Lace. Very interesting. Kansas Kitten is a good performer here.

Katherine Caldwell is an earlier bloomer. Not a rapid multiplier.

Kiss My Aura looks like a bitone, though it is not registered as such. Around 5.5 inches. Out of Enchanting Esmerelda, but usually better height.

The old Killer. Modest bud count.

Katherine Marin was not as good as in 2022. Picture from 2022. Good height. Sometimes doubling, which I find less appealing.

Kingdom Bound is in my view a superior cultivar in regard to color, bud count, and height.

Kingdom Without End after division the previous year

Emmerich's King of the Ages, a later bloomer. Moderate increase. Good height.

Kansas Kitten in 2022 before division.

Kansas City Kicker --a shorter Salter out of Sabine Baur. Color can be quite nice (and cleaner than Sabine), but didn't like 2023.

King Kahuna --it is a nice double, though short.

I only have one for this category and surprise surprise surprise ... it is a Bennett pink.

KIWI MAGIC: This is a great pony sized daylily. Well budded and branched.

Mantis - You give high praise to Kingdom Bound. It sounds like it would bloom a lot longer than mama, Entwined in the Vine.

These are the ones that caught my eye: Karin Cook, Kierabel, Karen's Curls, King Crab, Katherine Caldwell and Kiwi Magic.
