I recently moved into a new office that has horribly outdated carpets (as well as everything else) so I am trying to spruce it up the best I can until I can negotiate some remodeling. I found a rug I like but can't decide between the larger 8.6 x 11.6 one or the smaller 7.6 x 9.6 one. My default is bigger is better but I don't want the rug to look like it is 'spilling' into other areas or be a trip hazard. The room is 16.4 x 11.3. I plan to put a coffee bar under the pass through window and chairs on the empty wall. Thoughts? What would you do?
