Sherry: Love to color of NEON FLAMINGO. The color really pops.

NINE INCH NAILS: The model of consistency. This not my favorite form of daylily as I prefer cascading UFOs. It never has a bad day and all the blooms look like this. This will always have a home in my garden.

NEON FLAMINGO: Great color. Increases well and scapes are usually reaching registered height once established.

NEW COVENANT: This is an accurate picture. The color is this vivid. Plant habit is ok. I need to move it to a better spot as it is in the shade from Noon until sunset.

NO ORDINARY CHILD: I've only had this one for a year, so to early to judge.

Sherry - I like all your N's! I think when your Neon Flamingo is established it will give you a great show.

David - No Ordinary Child is so dark in your photo. Were most of the blooms that dark? I do like New Covenant. It's so pretty, it deserves better sun exposure.

I don't have many N's.

Neon Flamingo had a mix of tall and short scapes last year and had far fewer buds than usual.

No Tomorrow - I love the face of this flower, but it doesn't multiply. I've had it for three years, and it's still at only one fan.

North Wind Dancer's scapes were its usual height, but it was way down on buds and branching last year. I did have to prop up some of the scapes with supports last season. With the drought, many of my UFs had leaning scapes.

This was the first year for NO ORDINARY CHILD and all of the blooms were that dark. It is in a corner of the garden where it is protected from the morning sun. Then it is in full sun from about noon to 8:00 pm. Where I live in Upstate NY, we usually have clouds and that is why most people take Vitamin D supliments.

Navajo Grey Hills

New Paradigm has never been vivid in my garden. I think Kay’s is much brighter.

I could not find a photo of Neon Flamingo. It is still pouting from being divided two years ago.

Night Moves looks like a very rich color.

Natty Man makes a nice clump, but wasn't like 2022. I like it a lot.

Natalie Antoinette is a reliable Stamile with modest bud count. Flowers are usually perfect.

Native Reflection is an attractive purple with eyezone, but catch it before noon.

Night Wings was subpar, but I did capture the color quite closely in this pic.

New Covenant I fear will be short, but 2023 wasn't a year to judge.

Navajo Pony can look good.

No Boys Allowed is from 2022. Bud count is modest here.

This January only one in five days had any sun. And almost half the days had some precipitation. Gloom. But sun is in the forecast for early February.

Nan - I like the ruffles on Not Far From the Tree. I know you guys are hybridizing with that one.

Mantis and Kate - My No Boys Allowed did not bloom at all last year, and mine never has more than 8 or 9 buds.

Mantis - Natty Man looks good. I didn't realize you had that one. Where are you finding the space to add all those Davissons? It always amazes me how dark Night Wings is. My Navajo Pony did not bloom here last year. I haven't had good luck with that one. I sure do miss Natalie Antoinette's perfect flowers. The grubs decimated mine several years ago.

Kate - Navaho Grey Hills makes a pretty clump!

I forgot about Navajo Pony! I don’t think mine bloomed last season. (How many times have I said that on this post?!!) I know I don’t have a curent photo. Mine tends to lean and sway!

And I also forgot Napa Valley Merlot!

Looks like Neon Flamingo is the popular flower to have and for good reason! I really like Navajo Pony, Mantis. No Boys allowed is very pretty too. Only one n for me.

North Wind Dancer was low on buds last year as I moved it.

Yes, Navajo Pony, as has been noted before on the forum, does have somewhat willowy stems (though for some reason sturdier last year). I don't have it at clump strength, so cannot make many observations. Debra's comments on No Boys are spot on. Some Davissons are space hogs, while others, including Natty Man, are less dominant and intrusive. Natty and a number of others will need division soon.
