Kimpa, there are soooo many fake propagation videos on youtube, these are done solely to gather large number of views and likes and especially for the profit such brings to the channel. Sadly, youtube doesn't much monitor for scam videos.

My first thought when I read the title of the thread was "I bet they've been watching YouTube".

There's a whole industry based around creating clickbait videos. They have entire studios with crews of employees whose only purpose is to get views, usually with the most outrageous and fake "how to" instructional vids. There's ALSO a whole industry based around debunking these fakers, lol. Unfortunately, some of the videos are actually deadly dangerous, and YouTube does absolutely NOTHING about it.

For some great debunking videos, check out Ann Reardon's channel. Her main focus is cooking/baking, but boy, when she debunks a fake video, she's thorough, scientific (she has a masters in food science), and lowkey vicious, lol. She doesn't only debunk cooking videos, though. Some of her best are on other subjects, but she's just as thorough, especially if someone could be hurt by following the original video's instructions.

Sheesh...what these people won't do.
