Shelly, I have always found REAL WIND attractive.

Here the Rs that I grow:

RAVEN LORE: Makes huge fans. It is a space eater. Well branched and well budded.

ROCK CANDY: Rapid increaser and well budded. Popular with on-line purchasers. I find the color to be a little muddy.

ROSE F. KENNEDY: Not a rapid increaser. Reaches it's registered height.

RING NEBULA: Growing this Derrow introduction for the club in Maryland.

RUNAWAY ROMANCE: A Bennett intro. A good parent for Mr. Bennett.

RUBY STORM: Blooms over a long period of time. Increases well and well budded.

RED RAGAMUFFIN: Still new for me. Also not growing in the best location.

Maryl - Rethink Pink has a special look!

David - Runaway Romance is my favorite of yours!

Rainbow Maker had short scapes and few buds last year. It failed to bloom on many fans.

Rapture of Love - Same old song and dance about last year: short scapes and not many buds.

Razor Eyes had nice, tall scapes and rebloomed well.

Ripsaw has had much better seasons.

Ripples and Reflections - This was its second year to bloom.

Roman Cohort had a decent year.

Rose Sensation had its best year ever. Scapes are still nowhere near the registered height. But it had bud counts in the mid teens and very nice rebloom.

Rosie Cotton's Ribbons put on a nice show.

Roen Cathedral was extremely light colored from high heat and lack of rain.

Royal Cypher has struggled the last few years - a victim of voracious grubs.

Royal Seal had a few nice blooms.

Ruby Lipstick - With the cooler temps last year, Ruby Lipstick's petals did not look as white as usual.

Ruth Watkins Davidson was an absolute joy last season with tall scapes, buds in the mid-teens, strong rebloom, and excelllent pod setting. It definitely will move with me.

Lots of beauties. Sorry my posts have been rather short in comments, but a lot going on here and no time to do all I want to do. Raven Lore, Runaway Romance, Rapture of Love, and Royal Girls all caught my attention above.

Oddly enough, most of my Rs are within a similar color family!

Russian Rhapsody (heavy bloomer) is one I have kept just because of its early bloom. People always talk about lates as being season extenders, but earlies can serve that purpose too. And those earliest blooms are so welcome, whereas one is a bit sated at the end.

Remembered Kisses had an off year this year (I remember few, if any, blooms). I got the garden almost completely weeded this week, and I have aches and pains to show for it.

Ruler of Nations. Always seems to be clean. I have not seen it at clump strength.

Roses for Dallas had a quite good year. Not registered height; just above the foliage.

Riot Act --excellent performance last summer

Rogue Primate. Vigorous and sunfast. Not quite as dark as parent Arrogant Bastard and has grown taller here.

Rose Masterpiece --a reliable earlier bloomer.

Red Venom --a Hensley that came here via Debra. Height here not yet clear.

Rosie with a Ring. --a Derrow that has formed a nice clump; showy. Mike D. reported that it had an off year with him.

Rhinestone Cowboy --good plant habit. Nicely spaced scapes.

Rogue Wave --hasn't been fast to multiply

Rainbow Butterfly. Have never seen a pattern, but it's darker than pic and especially attractive against the cream wall. Gossard

Rainbow Maker --new and not heavily budded so far, but the windswept petal form is very appealing. Vigorous, but can't comment on plant habit yet.

Royal Rendezvous --big plant

Roman Cohort --had an off year because of heat and thrips, with weeks of no rain.

Regina Sitko --beautiful flower, but sun will take its toll (as it does with most).

Ruby Laser --rich early color on bloom just uner 5 inches.

Ring the Bells of Heaven --after first few years with a lot of splotchiness, it has produced very nice flowers on a fairly vigorous plant.

Ruby Grandeur has taken its time recovering from division. Sunfast blooms.

Rainbow Mesa. This Hanson is shorter growing.

Reckless Girls. This Davisson is a bit shorter than registered, but looked good last summer.

Reign in Me --this Korth is even darker than pic. Will be interesting to see what plant habit is when larger.

Real Wind --this later-blooming Wild cultivar will not win awards for branching or bud count, but the color attracts attention.

Royal Girls--a favorite with both Kate and me, though heat will take its toll.

Ruby Storm --reliable Stamile

Mantis - Reign In Me is gorgeous - just the kind of purple I like! Does Royal Girls fade badly in the heat? It makes a terrific clump for both you and Kate.

"Fade badly"--well, it loses its initial royal color intensity. What would you say, Kate? It definitely is showing sun effects by noon. My pic, a sun pic, was probably taken around 11. I don't know how hot it was.

I agree. It does lose the bright color in the heat. However, in my garden it does not melt and drip as some do. Here it is on June 26 at 7:30 p.m.
