Would it be tacky to buy matching runners? It's a very small space. Or, matching style but different color/pattern or would that just be too distracting?

The same rug but in a runner would be okay, changing to a different color I don't care for as much. I like Lyn's suggestions the best.

I'm just driving myself crazy trying to find something that matches but isn't the same. Do I get two, or one long? Would prefer to have the anti slip backing which I'm finding many extra long runners don't have. I'm having a baby any day now and need to buy something before I drive myself crazy and I have to say I'm really happy with the current rug! I wish I was good at interior design and putting colors together. My brain just flops.

Probably the easiest way to get a color match is to stay with the same manufacturer and the color they list for your rug (didn't try to guess that) and get something that feels like it gets along, but not matchy-matchy. Probably plainer than your rug. There are several shown here that would work.

Would this runner work? Also, it's a small apartment about 23 feet wide from front door to back door. I'm thinking I'll need a door mat in front of each door (especially front door as a lot of dirt tracks in) and this runner comes in a lot of sizes. What do you think? Thank you so much.

The black/grey was actually the color of the runner I originally ordered when I purchased the rug but it was out of stock and never shipped. I just found on Amazon so I'm thinking I may give this a try!

If a longer one works, it will be heavier/less apt to move, especially in a high traffic area and will create a more unified/less broken up feel.

Style wise: simple, textured, no fringe, and on the darker side. I have a long heavy hemp rug in a high traffic hallway and it’s a workhorse. I think the look would suit your rug’s feel and will be easy to decorate around.
