Your question is not clear. Are you choosing colors for EVERYthing in the room, based on this ottoman? Including walls, floor, window treatments, upholstered furniture?

Current room colors are irrelevant unless you are keeping them. You didn’t tell us.

I don't recommend designing a whole room around an ottoman, particularly one that honestly is nothing unusual or special. It is nice, but not what I would pick as my inspiration.

Is there a focal point in the room (fireplace, for example) that you can use as your jumping off point?

I need to see the other pieces please I agree an ottoman would not be the driving force in most designs .We neeed to see the space and have a much cleare idea of who is using the space and for what purpose.
