Are those mosaic tiles attached to a backing? I can’t tell since the photos are so close.

If yes, I’m wondering if part of the mesh backing is poking through the grout?

Yeah they are, I literally just read a post about that and it said the exact same thing

Im not sure if its okay to leave it like that or if i should try to put a little bit of grout on it myself? There is def a hole through it, its not just grouted around it with it sticking up. I was getting ready to seal the grout thats how i noticed it.

sounds like a piece of the mesh backing where he cut the sheet and and didnt trim it enough.

Is the grout still malleable?

see if you can pull it up carefully, take small scissors and cut, and try to use a bit more grout to cover the hole.

if dry, carefully use a sharp object to dislodge what you can, cut it, mix up a tiny bit of grout and patch the hole.

Thank you Beth! Its dry , I tried pulling it up, but got scared. I’ll def do that though and try to patch it since its so small I think it will be fine doing it myself🤞
