How is the wood curved on the steps?

Having an issue with a stair case - there are 2 steps and need them curved on one end. Installer not sure - he wants me to square them off. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hmm, is your installer a stair installer or a trim man? It makes me very concerned if anyone doing a stair job doesn't know how to get a radius tread and riser done. I go on to think about how they will be attaching the newels to the treads and the handrails to the newels. These things can make a stair last a long time or last until a warranty period expires and then you are out of luck! We can make any shape tread and riser. We could make the parts and ship them to you or I would be glad to see if there is a qualified stair company or installer in your area.
